Can this spindle be used for standard CNC routing?
While it can rotate a bit, this model is specifically engineered with a long-shaft design for edge banding machines. For standard routing, we recommend our standard air or water-cooled cylindrical spindle series.
Does it support both single and three-phase power?
The motor is designed for industrial voltages (220V/380V). It must be operated through a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to achieve its 18,000 RPM speed and protect the precision bearings.
What is the benefit of the long-shaft design?
The extended shaft allows the trimming tools to reach the panel edges comfortably within the mechanical layout of an automatic edge-banding machine, providing clear space for the trimming head and suction hoods.
