Technical FAQ & Operational Guide
Does this tool holder include the collet and pull stud?
The tool holder includes the precision-balanced nut. The pull stud for HSD spindles is pre-installed. ER32 collets of various sizes are sold separately to allow for custom tool sizing.
Can I use this holder on a non-HSD spindle?
This holder is specifically optimized for HSD taper and clamping specifications. While it follows the ISO30 standard, the pull stud length and taper micro-tolerances are set for HSD. For other spindles (like Biesse or Italian HSD clones), please verify the pull stud compatibility.
What is the benefit of the G2.5 balancing grade?
G2.5 is a high-precision balancing standard. At 24,000 RPM, a well-balanced holder minimizes centrifugal vibration, which leads to better surface finishes on your workpiece and protects your expensive spindle bearings from premature wear.
